Your First Visit

At your first appointment, Dr. Moriarty will review your medical and dental history, take any necessary radiographs, screen for oral cancer and periodontal gum disease, do an intraoral examination, and discuss your dental health and further treatment if needed. If you currently have any radiographs and or records, please bring them as these may be of help.

Your Second Visit

Depending on how complex your case is, Dr. Moriarty may ask that you return for a treatment consultation. At this next visit Dr. Moriarty will go through your photos and x-rays with you. It is important to us to allow time for you to be heard, and for you to see and understand what’s going on. This allows you, the patient, to help determine what plan of action you would like to take. This is your mouth and it is important that we address what is important to you. With Dr. Moriarty’s recommendation and your desires we will design a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

At this appointment we will also go over your insurance coverage and discuss fees and payment options. The overall investment of your treatment will depend on the degree of the problems that will need to be addressed. We have payment plans that will suit different budgets, including a payment plan with zero percent interest. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make your treatment affordable.
